7 weeks, 6 days preggoness

Well, my belly is getting bigger and bigger every week, it's silly I think. But my morning sickness is getting out of hand these last few days. Some smells make me sooo sick, like burn piles outdoors, or cooking meat.

I bought the first baby item yesterday. A little pair of cream colored knitted booties. They're adorable! I am just so excited to have another baby. I think Dannika will make a perfect big sister. She's going to love this baby just as much as her mommy is. Chris is being pretty helpful most of the time. He seems to be doing it more for me than for himself though. I can't tell if he is really happy or if he's just being supportive for me. I hope sometime soon he actually shows interest in the whole baby thing. He started talking to my belly already though, it was very sweet.

My first ultrasound is on the second, which is only a few days away, I am so excited!

And dannika's birthday party is on the 20th and I still haven't ordered anything for her party. I don't have the money for it yet. I am hoping chris will figure out some magical way of making like $400 hahaha.

Anyway, I am not really sure what else to type soooooo thats it.

My first blog...

Well, today is October 20th, 2010. I have never blogged before but I wanted to start a pregnancy diary. I didn't have one during my first's soooo I figured it would be a good start for a good thing. I am about 6 1/2 weeks along so far. My first ultrasound is on the 2nd, so I can figure exactly how far along I am, just to be sure :)

Dannika, my daughter, isn't very understanding about a new baby yet. She knows that babies are in the mommy's tummies, but I don't think she grasps the concept just yet. She has been around a few pregnant girls before, so I hope, by next year, she will be old enough to understand and even help out a little bit.

SO, I plan on writing in this weekly, if I can remember to do so. This week, my morning sickness is kicking my ass all over the place. And I pee like every half hour now too lol. My work is being supportive yet not at the same time. They have congratulated me but not put me on light duty yet. I hope to have them work with me on this so I am not too strained at work. I don't want me or the baby to be hurt just because they're selfish.

I already am showing, almost as much as I was when I was about 4 months along with Danni. That's surprising to me, I didn't think I would be this big already! It's crazy!

I am hoping for a boy this time, just to have a change, a new experience. But another girl will be nice too. I plan to write out everything we will need by June, and buy things accordingly. That way I can spend little by little and not all at once! And anything we get before we find out the sex will be gender neutral. I want the colors to be soothing, calming, like beige and pale green or something classic. I don't want nay bright colors or crazy prints this time around. But something basic and pretty and we can accent everything with a boy or girl-ish color too.

Well, this is as much as I will be writing today I think. I'll be writing again next week...
